Bring Your Photos
Participants bring one or more personal photos -- family portraits, holiday memories, vintage snapshots, anything with a story behind it. The more meaning a photo holds for you, the richer the story will be.
High-Quality Scan
Each photo is scanned on-site with first-class equipment, ensuring clarity and preservation. The digital version captures every detail of your original -- ready for projection and archiving.
Storytelling Session
Photos are projected on a large screen where everyone can see them. The photo owner tells the story behind the image -- who's in it, when and where it was taken, and the memories it holds. The group can ask questions, share connections, and add their own recollections.
Recording
We capture the entire moment -- both audio and video -- to preserve every detail. The storyteller, the reactions, the emotions. Nothing is lost. These raw recordings become the foundation of your personal video story.
Professional Editing
The footage is edited into a compelling video report that weaves together the photo, the narrator, and any additional footage. The result is a polished, shareable story that brings your photo and its memories to life.
Your Story Lives Online
After the workshop, each story gets its own page on Fotosvantoen.nl where the photos are displayed and the video is embedded -- ready to share and revisit
Story owners can share their page via secure, token-based access links. Only people with the link can view it -- perfect for sharing with family members who couldn't attend the workshop.
Once published, stories can be shared on social media and discovered by the wider community. Your photos and narratives become part of a growing collection of preserved memories.
Community Engagement
Viewers can add comments, post tags, and contribute additional context. Family members who recognize people or places in the photos can add their own knowledge, making the story richer over time.
